Review

Instead of "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" I'm going to reivew "Nancy Drew: The Clue of the Broken Locket" by Carolyn Keene. I know I've switched already, but it just didn't work out.
"Nancy Drew: The Clue of the Broken Locket" was great and I really enjoyed reading it! There was lots of surprises, and I liked the non "bad-guy" guest characters.
It almost always left me hanging whenever a chapter ended and I liked that; it made you want to keep on reading. I would recomend you read it if you like good mysteries!
Overall it was a really, extremely good mystery book! I would say it's one of my favorite Nancy Drew books!
If you want a picture of the book cover, and want to know where to buy it, click here: http://www.amazon.com/Clue-Broken-Locket-Nancy-Drew/dp/0448095114/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323560653&sr=8-1
If you buy it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Anyways, I'm excited that the holidays are coming up, and so are a lot of Nutcracker shows, and I'm in one of them! I love the holidays!

Oops...

I guess I was supposed to post a book review for "Petals in the Ashes"... and do the fashion column thing... but both of those didn't work out, sorry. So I will have a book review ready for either "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew" or the next book in the series, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".
   So yeah. Sorry. :}

Halloween!

You probably know that Halloween is tomorrow. It's going to be fun! :)
Anyway, I am going to list all the things that I like about Halloween here:
   1. CANDY CANDY CANDY CANDY!
   2. You get to dress up in crazy costumes!
   3. You get to hand out candy:)
   4. You get to eat CANDY CANDY CANDY CANDY!
   5. You can carve pumpkins! How many times a year do you get to do THAT?
That's about it. Not much. But at least it's something.
Oh, and my least favorite thing about Halloween is that it's on a school night. WHY NOT MOVE IT TO A WEEKEND? :(
If your reading this... what's your favorite thing about Halloween? Just 'cuz.

New Fashion Column

Until I have a book review ready, I thought I would write a new fashion column every week (or at least I'll try), starting today, and I will continue it after the book review (maybe).
Okay, so now here is fashion advice for middle schoolers:
Let's say you don't know what to wear to... a casual event. What I would wear is a plain colored T-shirt, ripped jean shorts, and a brown belt around the waist of the T-shirt, and add sandals, flip-flops or even tennis-shoes, depending on what you would be doing at that casual event, and WALLA! It looks great!
But that's just me. Instead of shorts, maybe you could wear a jean-skirt, and instead of the three types of shoes above you could wear boots. And since it's turning fall you could wear leggings and a sweater.
And if you were going to a more formal event, you could wear a colored skirt with a white shirt, black leggings, black sandals/ballet flats, and maybe a necklace.
That's just some advice, if you needed it. LOL:)

Book Review Alert:)

My Mom does book reviews on her blog, and she wants me to do one too. So I think I'll review a book called "Petals in the Ashes", sequel to "The Sign of the Sugared Plum", both by Mary Hooper.
"The Sign of the Sugared Plum" is about a girl with flaming red hair named Hannah who is eager to go to London to help her sister with her candy shop. But when she gets there, the plague picks up and swipes away thousands of lives. I finished that one today. It was really good. Obviously, Hannah, her sister and another person (who I don't want to give away) escape London to make sure the third person is safe.
"Petals in the Ashes" is about the terrible fire in London right after the plague. So far, they are sent to a penthouse for a reason I won't give away!!
If you want me to give away this stuff just ask...
   Duh...
   :) good books.

I am going to write a ryming story about a man who can't make up his mind in this post, okay? Okay, good. Here it goes:
Once there was a man who couldn't make up his mind,
He didn't have a clue if he wanted to swim or rock-climb.
He could climb, and he could swim,
He just didn't know, even though it was up to him.
If he knew what to do, he would do it.
He just couldn't make up his mind, and he couldn't get to it!
But one day the man who couldn't make up his mind,
Decided to swim, instead of rock climb.
And after he swam he could make up his mind,
And all his decisions sorted out like a line.

It wasn't the best story in the world, but oh well:) I like it.

Rainy Desert

I wrote another poem thing, called a Haiku, but this one doesn't ryme, and Haikus only have 17 syllables (five syllables in the first and last lines, seven syllables in the middle). Anyway, I call this Haiku Rainy Desert:
   Rain pours on the dirt,
   Making the drought dissapear,
   And the dry to life.
   Yup. It's short. But that's okay. :)

What to write

I... just... can't... put... my... finger... on... what... to... write...

There I just wrote something!!! :)
But maybe there is something to write... maybe somewhere out there there is something to write... because if there was nothing to write... I wouldn't be writing this.
But if I wasn't writing this and there was something to write... what would I write?? Hmm. I guess this.
Or how about I write a story about a lazy rabbit? Okay, good idea. :D
   Here it goes:
Once upon a time there was a little rabbit who felt to lazy to go and get food out of his fridge. He felt to lazy to get water. He even felt to lazy to even press a button on his TV remote. But one day he said, "If I'm to lazy to get my dinner, then how will I have any energy to feel lazy? So I guess I'll have to eat."
And after dinner he said, "I feel very thirsty. And if I become to thirsty, I'll be to busy being thirsty and not enough time to be lazy. So I guess I'll have to drink."
After he drank a big glass of water, he said, "I am very tired. And if I don't go to sleep, I'll be to tired to be lazy. I guess I'll have to sleep." So instead of feeling lazy, he went to sleep.
In the morning, he decieded to eat before he started being lazy. And as he was sitting down on the couch, he said, "I need to watch TV to feel even more lazy. And I like feeling very lazy. But if I turn it on, I won't feel lazy. Well, I guess I'll have to work a little to be lazy a lot." So he turned on the TV and watched until he was hungry again, so he ate lunch. Then he watched more TV, and then later ate dinner, drank lots of water and went to bed.

One day, the little rabbit wasn't very lazy anymore. The little rabbit didn't like being lazy (unless he was very tired and didn't want to go to bed), he liked being busy and active. He liked to garden, he liked to sweep his little den, and he liked to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, he liked to drink big glasses of ice cold water every night.
So the lazy little rabbit wasn't lazy anymore.
   The End.
So I guess the moral is if you be so lazy and you don't get food or water or sleep, you won't be able to relax later. Or maybe you will. It depends on if you don't drink and eat everyday without getting thirsty or hungry. Or tired.
And this was a lot to write when there was nothing to write. :)

What Ballet is :)

Ballet is awesome and it's for people who are tough enough to be un-afriad of admitting they dance the awesomest type of dance ever, and who aren't afraid to dance the crap out of themselves. O.o
   Just sayin.
Ballet is NOT girly but you seriously have to EXCERSISE and you really SWEAT and ballerinas are NOT just pretty little girls in pink tutus!!
   GEEZ.
And for people who say "Pshaw that stuff is so easy. It's for weak little losers who think they can dance," my comment for you is GET OFF YO BUTT AND SHOW ME TWO FUETTES. THEY ARE NOT EASY and ballerinas ARE NOT WEAK LITTLE LOSERS. They're STRONG BIG WINNERS WHO CAN BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!!
And that's what ballet is :)

Some More Random Stuff to Read

This is a picture of when a few puppies were newborn!! They are so cute! And Deek is in there somewhere!! I love those little puppies!! Who doesn't love little puppies? Puppies are sweet and cute and cuddly and I just love 'em!
And if puppies aren't cute enough with their eyes closed, they're even cuter with them open!!

PUPPIES PUPPIES PUPPIES!! I LOVE PUPPIES!!!
And I like ballet... and that should be apparent, according to the name of the blog. Um, duh. :)

My Limerick

I wrote this thing called a limerick the other day, and it's about my puppy named Deek. Here it is:
       Deek
There once was a puppy named Deek.
He's pretty and he's smart and not at all a freak.
       He's cute and he's big
And kind of eats like a pig
And his fur is so sleek.
Yup. That's my limerick, called Deek.
